School Age Program
Two schools for children who have significant disabilities provide individual instruction to help each child develop to his or her potential. Student progress is reported quarterly with an annual review of the child's individualized education plan (IEP).
These schools are:
Fairfax School, in MadisonvilleRost School, in Bridgetown
In addition, many school age children who do not attend our schools are supported by agency staff in partnership with public schools, via our satellite classrooms program.
Along with functional academics, special instruction is given in practical skills for living in the community and in the home, as well as training in vocational skills. Occupational and physical therapy, along with speech and language services, are available as specified in the IEP.
See the complete list of our schools.
