Medicaid service updates

The federal public health emergency that prevented people from being disenrolled from Medicaid will expire on March 31, 2023. If you receive Medicaid benefits, you must respond to requests for information or renewal packets.

If members do not respond to requests for information, they may be at risk of losing healthcare coverage or funding for Medicaid waiver services, even if they still meet eligibility criteria.

Our Benefits Team strongly recommends you, or your designated Medicaid authorized representative, proactively update your contact information.

You should reach out to Hamilton County Job and Family Services, (513) 946-1000, to ensure your contact information and mailing address is up-to-date and no other information is needed at this time.

Your contact information can include your name, residential address, mailing address (if different from home address), phone number and email address.

Ohio resumed routine eligibility operations on Feb. 1, 2023 and will begin mailing termination letters to those no longer eligible for Medicaid in April 2023.

If you have questions, please contact HCDDS Benefits Manager Di Sunderman at (513) 559-6739 or via email.
