My Life – Fall 2022

The newest issue of My Life magazine has arrived! We have stories about adaptive sports leagues, taking better pictures, and public assistance benefits.

Our cover story is about Scott Holland, an avid sports fan who is now a valued employee with the University of Cincinnati facilities team. We also have a wonderful feature about Rosie Lawrence-Slater, who fought to become her own guardian.

Look out for free copies available in our buildings, throughout the community, and at the library branches in Deer Park, Blue Ash, Anderson Township, Monfort Heights, College Hill, Mt. Healthy and Mariemont. You can also find the digital flipbook here or you can download a PDF here.

You can also listen to an audio version here, thanks to our partnership with CABVI. You can also access this on the Amazon Echo by Alexa.  Say, “Alexa, open Cincinnati Radio Reading Services”.  Then say, “Alexa, Play My Life Magazine”.  To hear previous My Life Magazines, say Alexa Previous.

If you have questions, comments, or story ideas for future issues send us a message at magazine@hamiltondds.org

My Life is created by and for people with disabilities in our community. Each issue will include a letter from our superintendent, Leia Snyder, along with stories from people in our community and events you’ll want to put on your calendar.
