Springing into Style

MY LIFE MAGAZINE - SPRING 2023

By Amy Hayden

Spring is a time where everything comes alive. As temperatures rise and flowers bloom, entrepreneur Marisa Conners shares her tips to brighten up your wardrobe this season.

STYLE TRENDS

Some of today’s trends are bright colors, floral and flowy dresses, V-necks, and 3/4-length sleeves. A bright floral sleeveless dress is the most popular dress trend for Easter and other special occasions, such as weddings. You can pair it with an open-front lightweight cardigan, so you’re prepared for the swings in spring weather.

For men, brightly colored polo shirts pair nicely with Bermuda shorts in a neutral color. They can also look great with jeans!

ADD SPARKLE WITH ACCESSORIES

Rose gold jewelry would be perfect for a bright pink dress. You could also mix it up with floral earrings, boldly colored bracelets and more. A white handbag will pop against bright colors.

A BOUQUET OF COLORS

The colors of spring are bold and pretty. Pink, lavender, bright green, pale blue, bright purple, and yellow will keep your style fresh.

PUT IT ALL TOGETHER

For everyday wear, women should focus on flowy dresses and blouses. A bright, solid or floral blouse, with 3/4-length sleeves would pair well with white trousers, or ankle-length and capri jeans. For men who want to look sharp when going out on the town, try a nice pair of slacks and a button-down shirt. You can wear it with or without a tie.

A collage of colorful spring fashions. It includes a sleeveless dress with large red flowers on the left, a black and white polka dot top with jeans, a pattern handbag, a floral 3/4 length blue top with yellow pants, a long-sleeve navy dress with pink flowers and green leaves, and a bright pink flowy dress with a light diamond pattern.
